SARAH Coleman’s positive attitude has been a big factor in her rise through the ranks of mining giant Rio Tinto’s operations in Western Australia.
Having absorbed a diverse range of consulting methods and strategies at the big miner, she started Improvement Resources in 2010, at the age of 29.
Ms Coleman built on these experiences and devised her own strategy that would not only help businesses improve, but would enable their managers to be innovativel about their operations.
In just over 18 months, Improvement Resources has grown from a team of six to more than 50 consultants who are focused on helping mining clients understand and meet their challenges by integrating with the client.
Ms Coleman plans to grow her team to 70 consultants by 2014 and expand internationally through strategic partnerships.
