LUKE Saraceni has revealed to WA Business News the design of the office tower he expects to build on one of the city’s biggest development sites at Raine Square.
Architect Edwin Bollig of the Bollig Design Group designed the building.
It will retain existing heritage hotels, have a new retail component, car park and nine-storey office tower, with floor plates of 5000 square metres.
Mr Bollig said that environmental sustainability was a paramount requirement in the design brief and a contemporary approach was taken to the new building to provide contrast with the older heritage buildings.
Mr Saraceni told WA Business News he expected to lodge a development approval with the City of Perth in the next few months.
