Safety push launched

THE WA Government has launched a new campaign highlighting workplace safety.

The 2003 Thinksafe campaign focuses on the need for cooperation to make workplaces safer. Consumer and Employment Protection Minister John Kobelke said work-related injuries cost WA employers more than $382 million each year.

“I am going to use every resource at my disposal to bring down the number of accidents in our workplaces but a vital factor is gaining workplace cooperation,” he said.
