Perth-based freight companies Sadleirs Logistics and Nexus Freight have entered into a joint venture business to provide freight transportation to WA's north west and the Northern Territory.
The new business will trade as Sadleirs-Nexus.
In a statement both companies said that the joint venture will allow Sadleirs to service existing and prospective clients in the region.
Nexus is already an established road transport carrier in the north west.
Sadleirs-Nexus has depots in Karratha, Broome, Carnarvon, Port Hedland and Darwin.
Sadleirs Logistics managing director, Ian Cook endorsed the joint venture.
"We are extremely happy with this link-up with the Nexus team. They are a proven and professional company that perfectly compliments our existing National network," he said.
By the end of this year, a new interstate terminal located at their 130,000 square metre Kewdale site will be complete, along with a brand new 30,000 square metre state-of-the-art logistics centre in Melbourne.
