Sabela signs deal with IDG

AD SERVING provider Sabela Media has signed a deal with IDG Communications to deliver all ads for the company’s web services.

IDG Communications is both an online provider of information technology content to information systems professionals and an information technology print publishing company.

IDG plans to use Sabela’s user profiling capabilities to target advertising to buyers of information technology products and services, thus increasing the value of its advertising space.

Prior to the new deal with Sabela Media, IDG used an adserving system provided by a major US provider, but planned expansion of its online programmes over the next twelve months required greater local support.

Sabela Media offers Sabela for Publishers, an outsourced ad serving service, to website publishers as an alternative to licensing third party software products or undertaking in-house software development.

Sabela is currently serving more than 100 million ads per month and is managing the delivery of online advertising inventory for more than seventy websites in Australia and New Zealand.
