SRG wins $26m contract in Kuwait

Perth-based SRG has won a $26.5 million contract for work on an LNG project in Kuwait for Hyundai Engineering and Construction.

Under the contract, SRG will provide post-tensioning work as part of the construction of eight new LNG tanks at the Al Zour LNG project.

SRG managing director David Macgeorge said winning the contract on the project was a significant achievement for the company’s international team.

“The $26.5 million project is a major contract win and demonstrates the strong progress in development our international business,” he said.

“Our strong track record of having successfully delivered post-tensioning works utilising the BBR system on a number of LNG and LPG tank projects in other parts of the world previously was key to the award of this project.”

SRG shares were up 4.7 per cent to $1.33 each ahead of the close of trade.
