Subiaco-based SRG Global has secured work on Adelaide’s Festival Tower, a $1 billion mixed-use commercial and retail development located in the CBD.

Its contract, worth about $20 million, was awarded from Sydney-based Built on behalf of developer Walker Corporation.

SRG has been tasked with delivering specialist engineered curtain wall facades, with work to start immediately and continue for about 18 months.

Festival Tower is expected to be Adelaide’s tallest all-electric office building, with 40,000 square metres of office space included.

“We are proud to be a part of this significant development project in Adelaide with strong environmental sustainability credentials,” SRG managing director David Macgeorge told the market.

“This continues our longstanding relationship with Built and highlights the geographic diversity of our facades business across Australia.”

SRG’s shares remain unchanged this afternoon, closing at 48 cents.
