Subiaco-based SRG Global has been awarded three contracts in infrastructure construction and defence, including at the HMAS Stirling Facility at Garden Island, totalling about $50 million.

Lendlease contracted the group for structures work on Garden Island, the beginning of SRG Global’s work in the defence sector.

Lendlease, on behalf of Charter Hall, also contracted the company to design, supply and install the specialist engineering curtain wall façade of an office and retail building in Melbourne.

The work, at 555 Collins Street, includes stepped feature GRC cladding elements to the upper podium and high-performance curves glazing throughout the tower.

The second façade contract, for the development at 60 King William Street in Adelaide, was awarded by Built, also on behalf of Charter Hall.

The project includes designing, supplying and installing thermally broken high-performance facades and will run for 24 months.

SRG Global managing director David Macgeorge said the contract wins highlighted the diverse offering of SRG Global and its ability to operate across a range of industries with repeat clients.

Earlier this year, SRG Global secured a $150 million contract with Fortescue Metals Group for maintenance and shutdown services, initially to provide rope access and electrical maintenance requirements across the Fortescue’s mine, rail and port locations.

It also won a $45 million contract for engineering and mining work, including for Maddington-based Pit N Portal for work on goldminer Red 5’s Great Western Deposit.
