SGIO has announced a three-year extension to its co-major sponsorship of the West Coast Eagles.
SGIO senior manager advertising and sponsorship John Lewis said the insurer was proud to continue its long-standing support of the club which it has backed since its inception in 1987.
"The West Coast Eagles have been an iconic part of the West Australian sporting landscape for the past 25 years and SGIO has been by their side since day one," he said.
"With the renewal of our sponsorship agreement, we are communicating not just how committed we are to the football club, but also to the people of Western Australia."
West Coast Eagles chief executive Trevor Nisbett said the Eagles were equally pleased about continuing the partnership.
"SGIO are one of the longest-standing partners of the West Coast Eagles and we're lucky to have such a committed, passionate and active sponsor of our football club," he said.
"We look forward to another 25 years of success starting with 2012."
The extension of the SGIO deal comes after West Coast announced in March that Hungry Jacks would no longer be co-major sponsor, with the fast food giant replaced by Bankwest.
