SCEE secures $30m contract

Southern Cross Electrical Engineering has secured a new subcontract with property group Lendlease worth approximately $30 million.

Under the new contract, SCEE will manage the electrical component of the upgrade to the existing airfield facilities at RAAF Base Tindal, located about 320 kilometres south-east of Darwin.

These improvements are intended to support the new air combat capability being acquired by the Australian Defence Force.

“The award of this significant package of defence works is another important milestone in SCEE’s continuing diversification into a broader range of sectors and geographies,’’ managing director Graeme Dunn said.

SCEE share price has seen a 2 cents price increase to 49 cents today.
