Southern Cross Electrical Engineering, through its KSJV joint venture with energy service provider Kentech, has received over $30 million of additional orders under a subcontract with Bechtel.
Under the contract, SCEE help provide electrical and instrumentation installation services on the Wheatstone gas project, taking the total value of work awarded under the subcontract to over $95 million.
In addition, SCEE has been awarded approximately $10 million of contracts with construction company Bouygues in relation to solar farm projects.
SCEE involvement will include the design and construction of photovoltaic electrical packages at four solar farms located at Parkes, Griffiths, Dubbo and Narromine in NSW.
‘‘It is pleasing to continue to secure further work on our existing resources projects whilst increasingly diversifying organically with our first projects in the renewables sector,” SCEE managing director Graeme Dunn said.
SCEE share price has seen a 2 cents price increase to 47 cents today.
