Rydges Hotels and Resorts has signed its first property in Kalgoorlie following an agreement with Western Australian company Primewest Management Ltd.
The 92-room resort, formerly known as Broadwater Resort Hotel, will be rebadged as Rydges Kalgoorlie.
"The signing of this agreement with Primewest Management is a clear indicator of mineral boom and tourism potential happening in Western Australia, " Rydges managing director Norman Arundel said.
"We are excited about bringing the first Rydges hotel to this historic and thriving region that will offer a world-class guest experience and hotel standards.
"The Rydges Kalgoorlie is an exciting addition to our hotel portfolio and we look forward to growing our relationship with the Primewest Management team. It is exciting to be work with such a progressive and successful ownership group."
