Royal tennis case squashed

The Note will never look at team sports the same way again after hearing about the protracted court battle involving the Royal Kings Park Tennis Club (RKPTC). A WA court last week ruled against a squash member who launched legal action in early 2000 because she was not included in a squash team at the club. The plaintiff was found by the judge to have failed in establishing her claim against the club. The presiding judge expressed regret about the length of time taken to reach a conclusion following the February 2004 trial, due to a lengthy illness.
