Robert Martin found not guilty
PERTH company director Robert Paul Martin has been found not guilty by a jury in the Perth District Court of insider trading in shares of Roehampton Resources NL.
Mr Martin was acquitted on six counts of insider trading brought by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, following a three-week trial.
He was charged on December 7 2001, following an ASIC investigation into the circumstances surrounding the trading of Roehampton Resources shares. The matter was prosecuted by the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions.
