Regions win $400 million more

THE state government announced it would inject an extra $400 million over the next four years into the royalties for regions scheme as the policy that tipped Premier Colin Barnett into power is officially launched. Regional Development Minister Brendon Grylls said the first $100 million will be allocated this financial year and share between 110 regional local governments.
