YOUNG people across Western Australia are taking part in the biggest series of youth-oriented events of the year.
More than 40 events are taking place between March 27 and April 4 including community seminars, festival and concert events, drug and alcohol workshops and film and art seminars as part of National Youth Week.
This year’s regional events include:
Dude’s Day Out in Albany;
Run a Muck in Broome; and
The Shire of Roebourne’s inaugural Say it Loud Youth Festival.
youth Minister Sheila McHale said the week provided an opportunity for young people – and particularly those in regional areas – to showcase talents, celebrate achievements, share ideas and make comment on issues of concern
