Rockingham City Council has approved the 12-storey Ramada Hotel proposed for the foreshore opposite Bell Park.
The councillors expressed the view that the multi-storey hotel would stymie the looming industrial invasion from the Kwinana industrial strip. Rockingham City Council mayor Chris Elliott said the hotel development was evidence that Rockingham had turned the corner in terms of major tourism.
