RDG awarded $26m in work

Perth-based Resource Development Group has won contracts for work on Fortescue Metals Group's Cloudbreak mine and Tianye SXO Gold Mining's Minjar Gold mine worth $26 million.

RDG’s subsidiary Central Systems was awarded a contract from FMG’s subsidiary Chichester Metals for the design and construction of an overpass at FMG’s Cloudbreak mine site, which is due to be completed in late November.

Another RDG subsidiary, Crushing Services Solutions, won a 12-month contract with Tianye SXO Gold Mining for crushing and screening to feed the Minjar Gold plant near Southern Cross, Western Australia.

In November last year, RDG announced it had secured two contracts with FMG and one contract with Blackham Resources, totalling $8 million.

RDG shares were up 4 per cent to 2.6 cents each.
