One of Western Australia’s biggest advertisers has dumped its long-time advertising agency, The Brand Agency, and awarded its creative account to JWT, a firm that is setting up a new office in Perth to service the account.
RAC's announcement comes after an extensive tender process that commenced in March this year.
JWT was chosen for its responsiveness to creative and strategic challenges, RAC said.
The Brand Agency had held the RAC account for over 20 years.
Headquartered in New York, JWT is setting up an office in Perth with Western Australian Nicole Gray its chief.
“JWT were assessed by the tender panel as providing a comprehensive range of skills and services and offered best value for money; effectively showcasing the advantages of being part of a global network, along with the benefits of a strong local presence at a competitive price,” RAC’s announcement said.
