The RAC has added the Karri Valley Resort near Pemberton to its growing holiday accommodation business.

RAC executive general manager, brand and tourism, Tony Pickworth said this acquisition built on the RAC’s goal to provide its members with good quality holiday accommodation in key tourism destinations around Western Australia.

“Our parks and resorts are designed to encourage Western Australians to holiday in their own backyard, and help them to do so affordably,” he said.

“Karri Valley Resort currently has 35 chalets and 32 lakeside rooms, and RAC will soon commence refurbishments and improvements including the addition of a new caravan and camping site.”

RAC members will receive discounts of up to 20 per cent. The mutual organisation with over 950,000 members in WA also owns resorts at Ningaloo Reef, Exmouth Cape, Monkey Mia and Cervantes.

The Karri Valley Resort sits by a lake on 110 hectares, 24 kilometres from Pemberton and adjoins the Beedelup National Park and the Bibbulmun Track.
