Quintessentially, one of the world's most renowned private members' club and concierge services, is planning to open an office in Perth later this year.

Scheduled to open in September, Quintessentially Perth will be the group's second Australian office. A Sydney office opened in May and plans are under way for branches in Melbourne and the Gold Coast.

The Sydney office marked the launch of Quintessentially Australia/New Zealand, with automotive entrepreneur Belinda Yabsley appointed to the role of chief executive.

Local members can expect to receive automatic access and exclusive privileges at the best gyms, spas, restaurants and nightclubs around the globe.

Members also have access to exclusive invitations to charity events, gala balls, shopping evenings, film premieres and VIP after-parties.

Spokesperson Suzanne Scrimgour said Perth was chosen as the second Australian office because of the wealth being generated in Western Australia and number of executives travelling to and from the state.

"People were crying out for it. Some people were getting services out of our other offices," Ms Scrimgour told Business Class.

Annual memberships start at $5,800 and move up in scale to the invitation-only elite membership level of $58,500.

Basic membership gives members a dedicated lifestyle manager, based in their home city, who offer a complete lifestyle management service.

Those with the elite membership have access to an exclusive team of personal account managers in all of Quintessentially's territories worldwide, who are available 24 hours a day.

Launched in the UK in 2000 by Aaron Simpson and Ben Elliot, Quintessentially now has 45 offices around the world, as well as fixers and research teams in most other major cities.

It boasts celebrities including Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, Elton John, and Virgin's Richard Branson.

There has been a growth in the use of personal concierge services in WA recently, servicing Perth's cash-rich, time-poor executives and fly-in, fly-out workers.

Local companies offering concierge services, ranging from simple errands to running specific events, include Alto Organisers and Finer Details Personal Concierge Services.

International Concierge and Errand Association Australia & New Zealand chapter president, Abbie Martin, said the WA market had experienced particularly strong growth in the personal concierge business in recent years.

"Perth has definitely seen the biggest growth, not just in terms of businesses but in terms of entering the market and being busy from the state," she said.
