Perth-based online movie rental firm Quickflix has reported record annualised revenue of over $10 million, with over 80,000 people now signed up to the service.
December quarter subscriber numbers were up 89 per cent on last year's numbers, and up 29 per cent on the previous quarter.
Quickflix executive chairman Stephen Langsford said the results were "extremely pleasing".
"We ended the calendar year in a solid position, bolstered by solid subscriber growth," Mr Langsford said in a statement to the ASX today.
""We're already seeing healthy subscriber acquisition continuing into January, with paying subscribers exceeding 53,000 and total subscribers (including trialists) surpassing 80,000.
"The strong uplift in new subscribers joining Quickflix is expected to result in further significant revenue growth in the March 2011 quarter and beyond."
