Quick, to the Betmobile

THE WA TAB and the Western Australian Turf Club have launched a mobile product line – a betting office that can travel the State.

Known as the ‘Betmobile’ (pictured above), the custom-built trailer unit will provide big-betting race days with extra support as well as providing a facility to country punters at non-TAB clubs, according to WATC chief executive officer Philip Neck.

“When you think about the amount of smaller race clubs in our incredibly vast State it makes sense to have a portable unit such as this to service these communities,” Mr Neck said.

The Betmobile was project managed by the WA TAB and includes six selling positions, 28 television monitors with Sky Channel, free-to-air and CFM receiving capabilities.
