Quick Service pays $60m for fast food

THE parent company of WA-based Australian Fast Foods Pty Ltd – owner of the Red Rooster and Chicken Treat brands – has added to its franchising empire with the $60 million acquisition of NSW-based fast food chicken chain, Oporto. Quick Service Restaurant Holdings Pty Ltd, parent company of Balcatta-based AFF, has acquired Oporto’s 106 stores along the eastern seaboard and New Zealand, bringing its total stores to 540.
