QPSX has announced it expects to lodge an appeal against the decision of the Munich Patent Court concerning the validity of the company’s German Segmentation and Reassembly patent within the next two weeks.
In an announcement to the Australian Stock Exchange, the company says its German counsel has advised that QPSX has very good grounds for appeal.
QPSX will use a Lloyds of London co-funding facility to pay for the German Supreme Court appeal. That facility has an undrawn balance of about $3.7 million.
The company believes the matter will not be resolved within the 2004-05 financial year.
