Public Practitioners Conference
On Tuesday June 15 to Wednesday June 16 CPA Australia is conducting the 2004 Public Practitioners Conference, at the Sheraton Hotel.
The conference theme for this year is Leadership Through Integrity and the conference has been designed to provide attendees with information on the keys to successful practice management, the secrets to driving profitability in their business, and the latest information from practitioners within the accounting and taxation arena.
Keynote speakers at the conference include, Inaugural Inspector General of Taxation David Vos, who will speak about leading taxation through 2004; BankWest chief economist Alan Langford, who will present an economic update; Australian Taxation Office assistant commissioner who will present a general tax update from the ATO; FranklinCovey managing director Brian Clarke, who will speak about principle centred leadership; and Baldry Financial Group director advisory services Suzanne Baldry, who will discuss the creation and maintenance of wealth.
Other topics that will be covered during the conference include, the simplified imputation system; practice management; payroll tax; structuring asset protection; service trusts; and estate planning.
