The proposed order of business for the Legislative Assembly for the
week beginning Tuesday, 4 May 2004 is as follows:-
1. Occupational Safety and Health Legislation Amendment and Repeal Bill
2004 - as many stages as time permits;
2. Architects Bill 2003 – all remaining stages;
3. Justices of the Peace Bill 2003; Oaths, Affidavits and Statutory
Declarations Bill 2003; Oaths, Affidavits and Statutory Declarations
(Consequential Provisions) Bill 2003 and Courts Legislation Amendment
and Repeal Bill 2003 – reconsideration in detail and third readings;
4. Machinery of Government (Miscellaneous Amendments) Bill 2003 – all
remaining stages;
5. Small Business Guarantees Repeal Bill 2004 – all remaining stages;
6. Pig, Potato and Poultry Industries (Compensation Legislation) Repeal
Bill 2003 - as many stages as time permits;
7. Anzac Day Amendment Bill 2004 – as many stages as time permits; and
8. Civil Liability Amendment Bill 2004 – as many stages as time
permits.
The Treasurer Eric Ripper will also be presenting the State Budget next
Thursday at 2 p.m. Arrangements have been made with the Speaker to
move Question Time to 12.30 p.m. for that day (and 90 Second Private
Members' Statements to 12.20 p.m.)
