Tantalum Australia (the former Australasian Gold Mines NL) has put a stop to plans to float exploration spin-off Savannah Gold.

Savannah was hoping to raise $2.6 million.

A company spokesperson described the current market as "terrible", but said a future listing was not entirely out of the question.
