DURING the past 35 years, including 10 in WA, Professional Public Relations (PPR) has established itself as a continually growing public relations consultancy. The group currently has offices in every state and territory in Australia as well as in Hong Kong, Shanghai and New Zealand. PPR’s WA office is managed by Peter Harris. His team consists of 35 staff, including 28 consultants, ranking it as the largest public relations firm in WA, according to the 2007 WA Business News Book of Lists. PPR WA has held this spot for at least five years. PPR’s strategic communications offering includes media relations, investor relations, internal communications, government relations, issues and crisis management, community relations, sponsorship and event management. The WA team manages the portfolios of many large organisations, both local and international, including LandCorp, Chevron Australia, HBF, McDonald’s, Bunnings, Emirates, Laminex, Murdoch University and Midland Brick.
