MJB&B Advertising’s ads for Retravision alarm clocks won the computer/office technology and consumer desirables category at the recent Australian and New Zealand Folio.
The awards recognise the best magazine advertisements published in an Australian or New Zealand publication.
MJB&B was the only WA-based advertising agency in the finals. Two of its advertisements, Retravision alarm clocks and Retravision microwaves, were selected as two of three finalists.
MJB&B group managing director Brian Bowley said the company philosophy was creating shared success “and we can proudly say we have achieved this for both MJB&B, the creative department and our client”.
“We applaud our senior art director Steve Rowe, who worked with Chris Swift to create this advertisement,” Mr Bowley said.
“The Retravision account has been with MJB&B for the last 11 years, and over that time we have won numerous awards, the Folio the most prestigious.”
MJB&B creative director Bill Green said the challenge of balancing creativity with the objectives of retail advertising made the win particularly rewarding.
