Prime CBD opportunity

A PRIME development site on Wellington Street is to be sold by tender through Knight Frank.

The compact, 172 square metre site, which adjoins the City Central retail centre, has exposure to Wellington Street and is located close to Barrack Street, the Murray Street Mall and the central train station.

Zoned ‘Shopping CS’, the site has the potential for retail, commercial or residential development and has a 4:1 plot ratio.

Knight Frank selling agent Barry Toms said the high-profile site would be ideally suited to a developer, investor or owner/occupier.

Mr Toms said the site was well placed to capitalise on the CBD’s retail revival and presented a number of opportunities for development.

“It is rare to get a vacant parcel of land in the CBD and we expect strong interest from a number of potential end-user,” he said.

Tender submissions will close on August 29.
