Despite a bloody day on the bourse, South Perth-based gold explorer Noble Mineral Resources Ltd opened at a 40 per cent premium to its issue price.
The company, which is exploring for gold in Ghana, missed out on the market's sharp drop in early trade, having listed in the early afternoon.
Shares in the company rallied to close at 30c with 35,000 shares trading hands. At close, the company had a market capitalisation of $6.6 million.
The company raised $2 million in its initial public offer through the issue of 10 million shares.
Noble is headed by managing director Wayne Norris.
