Poor form in boom time

EVER since the boom began, Perth’s nightlife and sense of vibrancy (or lack thereof) has been the subject of some fairly robust scrutiny. The latest attempt to mobilise public opinion in this area is an online petition, produced by those cultural engineers at not-for-profit group FORM. Appealing to all who think Perth should ‘loosen up’, ‘be less conservative’, ‘be more than just a pleasant place to live’ and ditch its archaic regulations, the group is aiming for 20,000 signatures, which it will take to the state government as proof of a grass roots demand for change. See http://www.form.net.au/creative_capital/petition.
