Planning group gets its skates on

CONSTRUCTION of the Queen’s Gardens Skate Park project in Bunbury has commenced.

The facility will be built adjacent to Blair Street and construction will take approximately three weeks.

The Planning Group was awarded the $65,000 contract to design and build the skate park which will be similar to the design of a recently completed course at Nannup.

More than forty young people attended a consultation meeting with Mayor John Castrilli.

Council recently gave the go-ahead to the project after a last-minute delay to consider an alternative site.
