Pinnacles shapes up

The Pinnacles nickel project, 100 per cent owned by junior gold explorer Kanowna Lights NL, appears to be shaping up into the next laterite resource to hit the boards in WA.

The project has the right address – 130 kilometres east of Kalgoorlie in a region that hosts projects at Bulong, Cawse, and Murrin Murrin.

Kanowna Lights chairman Tom Bannerman said the high-grade resource estimate at Pinnacles had now been increased in tonnage and grade from 1.52 million tonnes at 1.28 per cent nickel and 0.12 per cent cobalt to 3.2 mt at 1.34 per cent nickel and 0.13 cobalt.
