Property group Pindan has secured work on a $16 million boutique apartment block in Mount Lawley, with construction to begin this month.

The development, Clifton & Central, was designed by MJA Architects and is owned by Willing Property (a subsidiary of Willing Group).

The apartments will be built on Central Avenue and will include 15 residences, comprising terrace houses and lofts, as well as seven shops.

Willing Property said it had already sold half of the apartments and shop houses.

The group was established in 2012 by former Australian track cycling champion, Tim Willing.

“We are delighted to officially announce Pindan as construction partner for Clifton & Central,” Mr Willing said.

“We recently partnered with Pindan on our 22-apartment, mixed use development – The Terrace House – in Guildford where they proved themselves to be highly intuitive builders of high standard, bespoke property.

“We believe Pindan is the ideal partner to deliver the quality, unique style and level of detail that Clifton & Central require.”

Pindan general manager Simon Greenlaw said the group was excited to begin construction on the project this month.

The apartments are expected to be built by next December.

They will be adjacent to Mr Willing’s coffee shop, The Deli on Central, which opened late last year.
