Construction firm Pindan’s modular building division has constructed a 24-workstation office building in less than 16 weeks.
The $600,000 building has been built at Pindan Modular’s Maddington headquarters and will be delivered to the Shire of Roeburne by mid-April.
The office building, which has all services hard-wired into its structure, was commissioned for the Department of Child Protection.
Pindan Modular operations manager Paul Rintoul said the DCP required a fast and cost-effective way to create a ragional office.
“We reviewed the scope of the project, and found costs savings by reducing the number of modules to four, whilst increasing their size,” Mr Rintoul said.
“We also altered the roof pitch to suit maximum transport heights.”
The building is cyclone rated for tropical and semi-tropical climates.
