The Pilbara Development Commission board has approved $177,500 worth of funding support for four projects:

Country Arts WA - $22,000 to aid in the delivery of the Regional Arts Development Conference in the Shire of Roebourne;
•
Welcome Community House - $50,000 to provide funding support to assist with the overall capital costs for the planned Welcome House;
•
Hampton Harbour Boat and Sailing Club - $93,000 for the proposed upgrade of the deepwater pontoon facility at Dampier; and
•
Pilbara Homecare - $12,500 to enable the provision of supported accommodation for young men with disabilities in the town of Roebourne. The PDC is accepting applications for a second round of funding under the Regional Development Scheme.
