AUSTRALIA’S largest privately owned auction company has opened a second Perth-based vehicle auction site.
Pickles Auctions will auction ex-Government, fleet and repossessed vehicles from its new facility on Balcatta Road and dedicate its Welshpool site to the auctioning of damaged vehicles, trucks and machinery.
The Balcatta facility will be the largest of its kind in the northern suburbs.
Pickles director Matthew Peterson said the launch of the new site was indicative of the growing trend across Australia for people to purchase their car at auction.
"Pickles sells more than 105,000 vehicles a year and people now realise there are real savings to be made on the purchase of a near-new vehicle by buying at auction," he said.
"Western Australians are following this trend and the opening of our second site in the northern suburbs means we can now offer a dedicated public auction facility in a convenient location."
