The Institute for International Research is running a three day conference from Wednesday March 19 to Friday March 21, entitled Fundamentals of Petroleum Economics, at the Rendezvous Observation City Hotel. This industry standard introductory conference has been designed for petroleum engineers, geologists, geophysicists, government personnel and those working in exploration geoscience, finance, or commercial departments of petroleum companies.
The conference will examine the role petroleum economics plays in exploration and production decision making, the theory and application of key exploration and production economic concepts, tools to develop and perform basic economic evaluations, alternative analysis techniques and the latest theories of evaluation, and important parameters in the development of cash flow models.
