THE who’s who of the Australian property industry will converge on Perth in March for the Urban Development Institute’s annual national conference. Around 800 delegates are expected to attend the event, titled “Innovation at Work”, at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from March 12-15. Comedian Jean Kitson will be MC at the event. A key item on the conference agenda is the way changes in technology are affecting urban development. A variety of Australian and international private sector and government speakers will address delegates, including Joel Kotkin, a recognised authority in global, economic, political and social trends, and Ernesto Sirolli, founder of the Sirolli Institute and pioneer of the world’s first Enterprise Facilitation project in Esperance. Other well-known speakers include Dr Karl Kruszelnicki, Dr John Tickell and Stuart Diver. Special guests ‘Roy and HG’ will host the awards night.
