Perth tech companies win big clients

Two Western Australian technology companies have announced agreements with major resources sector players Monadelphous Group and Rio Tinto.

Track'em says its specialist cloud-based technology will be used to help Monadelphous track its construction materials across some of the company’s major mining and mineral projects.

Track'em founder and chief executive and Business News 40under40 award winner, Kashif Saleem, said Monadelphous would have continuous insight into the location, status and custodian of its materials.

The engineering company will also use Track'em’s patented BIM integration to enrich its current BIM models with a digital twin of construction progress and material status.

“With our technology, engineers and planners will have the visibility on progress in real-time, without having to be physically present on-site,” Mr Saleem said.

Meanwhile, Diversus will have the opportunity to bid for general consultancy, application services, and business intelligence and analytics against a limited number of other providers after being added to Rio Tinto’s Ecosphere Consultancy panel.

Diversus will be included on the panel for three years, with an option to extend the contract by two years, which its director Dien Tang said was a privilege for the company.

“Diversus has a strong commitment to supporting local businesses and community initiatives and it’s great to see global leaders like Rio Tinto acknowledge and support local Western Australian businesses and talent,” he said.

Mr Tang is also a past 40under40 award winner.
