Entriken joins Allion
Allion Partners has appointed Shane Entriken as partner and head of its workplace relations, health and safety team. Mr Entriken was previously special counsel at HopgoodGanim. He spent three years as vice-president at Adani Group, following executive roles at BHP and Rio, which included serving as BHP’s head of human resources, global iron ore.
Allens gets Creed
Law firm Allens has recruited Nicholas Creed as a partner in its Perth banking and finance practice. Mr Creed was previously at the firm King & Wood Mallesons, where (originally as Mallesons Stephens Jacques) he had worked since 1992. He became a partner in 2002, and moved to KWM’s Perth office in 2012.
Marketforce creates chief digital role
Marketforce has appointed Alice Manners to the newly created role of chief digital officer. Ms Manners was previously the Sydney-based chief executive of Interactive Advertising Bureau, which she led from 2013. Prior to this she held numerous executive roles with WPP Asia Pacific, including chief operating officer, interaction for GroupM Asia Pacific.
VenuesWest appointments
VenuesWest has appointed Peter Bauchop chief operating officer. Mr Bauchop has acted in the role for the past six months. He was previously general manager, nib Stadium, for VenuesWest, following his role as chief executive officer, nib Stadium, for Allia Venue Management. Shane Walsh has been promoted to general manager, Perth Motorplex.
McNally retires from WA Super
WA Super chief executive John McNally has announced plans to retire before the end of the year. Mr McNally has served in the role for 11 years, after 14 years on the board of the WA Local Government Superannuation Plan. He previously worked in local government for 30 years, including 11 years as chief executive of the City of Melville.
