The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of WA will hold Payroll Administration on Monday September 20.
The seminar is designed to gain an understanding of the legal obligations regarding payment of wages and additional employer obligations for administering the payroll function.
The seminar aims to help attendees understand statutory requirements and the effect of legislation on employer contracts.
Topics on the agenda include contract employment requirements and application of awards, payment of wages requirements and record keeping and pay slips, termination payments, annual leave and sick leave accruals, overview of superannuation, long service and workers’ compensation entitlements, overview of taxation requirements and minimum conditions of employment.
