INVESTORS rubbed shoulders when they took the opportunity to have a good look at the new Palandri winery recently in the South West.
Approximately 1,500 people attended the function estimated to have cost $200,000.
The party – complete with band, fireworks, unlimited amounts of Palandri wines and food supplied by Lamonts – entertained and warmed investors on an otherwise chilly night before they were bussed back to their hotels in Margaret River, Yallingup and Dunsbourgh.
Local controversy surrounding the modern $8 million winery were forgotten – as was the cost of putting on the party – as investors took in the atmosphere and the building which lit up the landscape.
