THE MERGER between RTC Agribusiness and Milne Feeds has produced a service ‘from paddock to plate’ for the agriculture industry, an RTC spokesman said.
“Complementing RTC’s branch and agency network, Milne Feeds has brought with it feedlots, Clover Meats Abbatoir, veterinary services, buying and selling of grains, fertiliser and animal feeds and supplements,” he said.
RTC recently launched an Internet service called i farm for all stages of crop production at the Wagin Woolarama.
The service allows for forward contracting of livestock, wool and grains all year round.
As of 1 April, Standard Wool will take over all RTC’s wool business and personnel.
Economies of scale make this a beneficial arrangement for both companies.
