PACT Construction has secured an $11.5 million state government contract for the second stage of construction at Aspiri Primary School in the south-east of Perth.
The second stage of the project includes the construction of an administration area, a library resource centre, and sporting and parking facilities.
The school opened this year for pre-primary and kindergarten students, and will open next year for students in years one through six.
The school will accommodate 540 students to help relieve enrolment pressure from nearby Harrisdale Primary School and Piara Waters Primary School.
Oldfield Knott Architects is the architect for the project.
The state government said this week the overall project was worth $17 million.
“I welcome the $17 million commitment to my electorate, which will service fast-growing areas like Piara Waters and surrounding suburbs,” Jandakot MLA Yaz Mubarakai said.
