In the bustling arena of digital agencies, where innovation, reliability and trust are currency, one organisation is setting a new precedent. PWD, led by Managing Director Oliver Wood, has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing both ISO 9001 and 27001 certifications, placing them at an elite level as the only agency in Australia to hold this dual accreditation.
Clients enlist digital agencies to enhance their online presence, emphasising the critical importance of securing sensitive information and protecting against the evolving threat of cybercrime. PWD's proactive approach to fortifying defences, with ISO 27001 certification, sends a clear message: data integrity and client confidentiality are a priority.
Wood explains that the motivation behind this pursuit was the desire to elevate PWD and its operational framework. He emphasises, "The importance of data safety cannot be overstated, particularly in sectors handling sensitive information, such as ours. With ISO 27001 certification, PWD assures clients that their data is not merely stored but fortified behind layers of strong security protocols."
Beyond cybersecurity, the further attainment of ISO 9001 certification speaks to PWD's commitment to quality management. To receive this certification, an organisation must undergo an audit process conducted by an accredited body, considering factors such as process documentation, customer focus, leadership involvement, resource management, and a commitment to continual improvement.
The globally recognised ISO 9001 is highly sought after, demonstrating a dedication to quality management, customer satisfaction, and overall operational efficiency. This accreditation validates PWD's commitment to excellence – processes are not merely executed; they are continuously refined and optimised.
Looking ahead, PWD's commitment to maintaining ISO standards remains a top priority. The agency is dedicated to staying ahead of evolving cyber threats, embracing best practices, and continuing to deliver exceptional services to its clients. The dual attainment of ISO 9001 and 27001 firmly positions PWD at the forefront of the industry, reflecting its unwavering dedication to excellence and proactive resilience against emerging challenges.
