PGA, Palisade team up on infrastructure

The state's Pastoralists and Graziers' Association has welcomed the prospect of private, long-term investment in regional infrastructure projects by Palisade Investment Partners, which is headed by former Deputy Prime Minister Mark Vaile.

The state's Pastoralists and Graziers' Association has welcomed the prospect of private, long-term investment in regional infrastructure projects by Palisade Investment Partners, which is headed by former Deputy Prime Minister Mark Vaile.

Palisade were in Perth this week for talks with the PGA to identify long term investment prospects to boost regional infrastructure throughout WA.

"Palisade's interest in investing in WA will provide long term benefits to our rural communities and industries with out burdening local and state governments," PGA president Rob Gillam said.

"Their investment criteria covering security of food supply, renewable energy and preserving water resources, fit with many prospects in WA which require the development of new regional infrastructure.

"PGA will be cooperating with them wherever possible to identify suitable opportunities and to assist in bringing development projects on-line."
