Otherside recruits within to replace CEO

Al Taylor has stepped down from the chief executive role at Triple-1-Three, the owner of Otherside beer brand and brewhouse and sister hospitality venues Freo.Social and Mojos.

Mr Taylor confirmed that Triple-1-Three founder and current chief operating officer and chief financial officer James Legge would fill the gap in the business, taking the newly-created role of group managing director.

A former chairman and group managing director of Western Australia-founded advertising agency 303MullenLowe, Mr Taylor became involved with the group and brands as a shareholder and non-executive director before taking on the chief executive role four years ago.

He said he would remain a director and contribute in a strategic advisory capacity.

Triple-1-Three is chaired by Adam Levin, who said Mr Legge would continue the implementation of the group’s strategy.
